The many signs of the Latin language can lead to misunderstandings or get one to get lost, but now there is help available for English speakers. A new application for iPhone allows you to translate signs from Spanish to English in real time via the phone's display avon - without the need for either internet or data connection.
The application called avon Word Lens and can be downloaded directly from the App Store. In order to translate signs from English to Spanish to Buy a language pack, which costs 30 kroner. That's half the normal price (60 euros), and introduction offer is valid until 31 December. Although the application may initially seem impressive, it promises more than it can hold. The translations avon are not accurate enough, says among other Dane Frederik Arnholdt, which allows Word Lens 3 out of 5 stars.

As another idea, I'd probably just translate sign the text next to it, or OCR'e text into the display, and a new translation of comfort there, instead of having to hold the phone up to the plate to read it.
